Collection: Andrew Groom | Composer

Andrew grew up in Sheffield, singing in choirs and learning recorder, trombone, and piano. He studied trombone and piano at the Royal College of Music and completed a Master’s in Music Performance at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. As a freelance trombonist, he has performed with the Philharmonia Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. Since 2014, he has focused on teaching, now serving as Head of Prep Music at Loughborough Schools Foundation. Andrew has composed six children’s musicals and enjoys writing singable, musically rich songs. Outside music, he loves time with family, running, and church activities.
