Ruth is an arts executive, director, producer and choral musician.

She currently works as Co-Company Director at NEW Sinfonia in Wrexham, North Wales. Her previous artistic management roles have been at National Youth Choir UK, Glyndebourne, Welsh National Opera and Ensemble Cymru. Ruth is on the Board of Directors for the Welsh Music Guild, the London Handel Festival and is Chair of the Board of Trustees for Kantos Chamber Choir in Manchester. 

Her choral producing work includes performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Snape Maltings and the Southbank Centre. As well being Executive Producer for multiple choral releases on the NMC Recordings label, including 2023 Ivors Award winning Sol by Ben Nobuto. Ruth has been the producer/commissioner for new operas Gair ar Gnawd by for Welsh National Opera and Pay the Piper at Glyndebourne in addition to working on the production team for multiple BBC Proms concerts. 

Choral conducting is an important part of Ruth’s portfolio and she is very proud to be a conducting tutor for UK charity Sing for Pleasure as well as being the Musical Director for Cantorion Rhos.
