Lucia Quinault read English at Merton College, Oxford, and sang in the Chapel Choir. She first taught at two GDST schools in London, and has been at Winchester College since 1999, including nine years as Head of Department. Having run school poetry workshops for many years, her creative collaboration with Oliver Tarney began with an Advent carol The Waiting Sky which was published by OUP in 2018. The St Mark Passion is their biggest project so far. Lucia also researches and writes about poetry manuscript circulation, with a particular interest in the long 18th century.
